Hello. It’s an honor for me to lead a very dedicated humanitarian agency fighting poverty in Africa today, MADI.
During my tenure as an Aid Worker in Africa, I’ve come to understand the issues of poverty in Africa and gained insight to approaches that I truly believe will help bring about lasting solutions.
At MADI, we specialize in poverty alleviation. To accomplish this goal, MADI directs its efforts to address four main areas:
- Hunger
- Health
- Education
- Moral and spiritual growth
At this point, we work exclusively in Uganda with great optimism to reach out to other countries in the region and Africa at large.
MADI strives to bring hope to Africa’s poorest people, regardless of who they are and where they live. Our assistance is unconditional. We don’t coerce anyone into believing what we believe but as founder of this organization, I personally believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord and that he has called me to reach out to the poor and oppressed.
Please don’t be put off by our size as a young and vibrant organization. It enables us to focus and be goal-oriented without the nuances of bureaucracies that plague many charitable organizations today and render them largely ineffective. In fact, it’s the depth of our work at the grass roots level that enables us to know the people, the problems and the potential of the African communities we now serve.
Born and raised in Africa, I know hunger and suffering first hand. My family was the exact replica of families we are reaching out to now in Uganda. Thanks to the generosity of the donors of Hiefer International, we were able to break the cycle of generational poverty that has plagued our family. Today I am doing what those donors of Hiefer International did and even more. The same situation my family faced more than 30 years ago still exist in families all over Africa and through MADI, I join hands with so many to make a lasting change in the lives of the poor. It is my spiritual responsibility as a follower of Jesus Christ and those that believe in him to make an effort to meet the needs of the poor. (Read Isiah: 58)
At MADI, we bring meaningful life transformation to thousands of Africa’s most marginalized people; community by community, family by family, person by person.
Each generation is responsible to do the very best it can with the resources it has. I’m very excited by the many opportunities to make a difference for people who have little in today’s world.
I invite you to join us. Together we can make a difference through passion, professionalism and an uncompromising commitment to answer the call of God’s will to fight for the less fortunate people in this world.
That’s our Making a Difference.
